If you are into sustainability and care for the environment, this is a must visit place. We visited Sagg Eco Village on our way back from Sonmarg on a recommendation from Pinnacle Adventures (travel company that arranged our trip). We were walked through the various sustainable environment friendly approaches that originally prevailed in Kashmir. I would definitely want to go back and take up one of their workshops. Wish them all the best

An extraordinary place, a combination of serene ambience, playful family place. We along with our kids had an amazing time, learning, reading, swinging, tramprolizing, learning to farm, pickling vegetables, painting, pottery making, relaxing in sun. Good food, banana shake, lemonade, kahwa, filter coffee, bread pagodas, stuffed parathas, shahi paneer, kashmiri cuisine, different type of chutneys along with breads and wraps in the middle of snow covered mountains ⛰😋

It invites you for an engagement and experience with nature, people, culture and yourself. Sagg village redefines the purpose of travel. It helps you to rethink, reimagineand rebuild. Sagg offers a serene environment with amazing hospitality by a vibrant team, falvours of local food, kids friendly areas, oppertunity to learn about food & nature, hiking, camps facilities and much more. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for something that is much more than usual stay. You can do day visits, camping, longer stays, adventure activities, team activities & workshops....

Inspiring, educational and soothing
Beautiful day visit to the sagg eco village - learned so much about sustainability, Kashmiri heritage and social transformation. The site is absolutely gorgeous, and so thoughtfully maintained and decorated at every turn. Available for retreats, long and short stays, as base camp for nearby hikes, or also for day visits, special meals, events they frequently put on. I will definitely be back for overnight visits and for a writing retreat - it is a perfectly calm, I will definitely be back for overnight visits and for a writing retreat - it is a perfectly calm, refreshing and inspiring atmosphere. Kudos to the Sagg team for their visionary work!
